The domains of ICANN(the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) 
and IANA(the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) were hijacked earlier toda by a Turkish hacking group which named them as NetdevilZ.
They left a message on ICANN homepage.
“You think that you control the domains but you don’t! Everybody knows wrong. We control the domains including ICANN! Don’t you believe us? haha

ICANN is responsible for coordination and maintenance of domain names and addresses used in various protocols and IANA takes care of coordination of the DNS Root, IP addressing, and other Internet protocol resources globally.
