Yahoo! started its social network portal: Yahoo! mash
One have to wait and see, how it will get into shape, as it is still raw according to the mash team lead.
Yahoo! mash is made up of modules: users can add/remove modules(features).
By default your  mash profile comes with modules like
- Â Flickr RSS
- Ego Boost ( Funny Module to boost your Ego)
- Common Friends
- MyMashLog ( Log Records of ur mash )
- Blog Modules ( can display your blog posts in your mash profile page by RSS 2.0 Feeds)
I guess, there will be lot of modules in coming couple of months as mash team announced that they will start a Module Developer zone in their blog.
The funniest thing, in mash is that trusted contacts in your profile can add modules to your profile page.  and you can make a starting profile for your friends.
The one, I liked in mash is Tags. One can add as many tags as he/she liek to his/her profile and can search others by tags. I think no one used Tags in social network sites. Its looking so great and works great.
